Writing a Friday Wrap-Up blog post
Writing anything
Prepping some submissions
Prepping for a trip to the post office tomorrow
Filling out paperwork to get paid for a radio story

Things I Could Be Doing:

Studying Afrikaans
Looking for house ideas on the internet
Making house sketches and floorplans
Catching up with my flist on LJ
Updating the Starfish Circus website
Working on my writer website
Reading LJ Idol entries and leaving nice comments
Reminding myself that I worked 23 days without a day off, got stuck in SLC airport and then bumped to Vegas and then stayed up too late and it's OK to take a break.

What I Am Doing:

Feeling sorry for myself for being stood up by someone I don't even know.

I usually use either cinnamon and sugar or maple syrup. (This is why I said "not-too-unhealthy" rather than "healthy". ;) ) But I also don't like cream; cheese is my dairy must-have.

You could experiment; oatmeal is pretty versatile. I've tried chocolate chips (turned into chocolate oatmeal; oops!), blueberries
(good), grapes (rather weird), dried cranberries (okay, but probably would have been better with fresh), and nuts (walnuts taste good, peanuts are too salty, pecans are also good but better with cinnamon and sugar). I usually put a small piece on a spoonful of oatmeal so I can taste it before I add it to the whole bowl. :)

Congrats on the aged cheese! Definitely progress. :)
